HUGE was officially founded in 2009 in Sydney and Shanghai. The current partners worked together on many large-scale projects for an established Australian architecture firm in Sydney, Shanghai and Dubai. Core focus is on practicing contemporary architecture, urban planning and interior design. From 2011 onwards the whole operation is concentrated in one head office, which is based in Shanghai. In addition there are two representative offices in Hangzhou and Amsterdam.

The colourful and diverse backgrounds of the founding partners created a platform, which not only involves architecture. Disciplines like branding, computer graphics (CG/3D architectural visualisations) and product design are part of this unique HUGE mix of holistic and lateral approach to design. HUGE also has a reach to various other disciplines by collaborating with other creative companies to achieve more interesting and exciting solutions for any kind of design challenge.

HUGE pursues the practice of contemporary architecture and design with a pragmatic approach to concept development. There is no attachment to a certain style or aesthetic as HUGE believes a single style is a limitation in finding the best suitable solution.
