Samuel Tsang
Samuel is the Managing Director and co-founder of HUGE and graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Technology in Sydney (UTS). Samuel has extensive experience in China having worked at PTW Architects as Associate Director and design leader for international invited competitions such as the FINA Aquatic centrecompetition in Shanghai and the Zhuhai Opera house.
He collaborated with Chris Bosse - Director of LAVA - who was the concept Architect for the Watercube in Beijing for PTW on several projects including the design of the Australian pavilion for Shanghai expo 2010.
Samuel is also joint owner of the72 Erskine street Art gallery in Sydney, Australia. He was also part of the design team for the ADI Puri Music hall and Gallery in Jakarta Indonesia.
In 2008 Samuel led a team that won the competition for the 6 sqkm Masterplan in Qinglong lake resort in Beijing and was finalist for the Xian Culture Museum project. Prior to setting up the HUGE office in Shanghai he was partner of Tsang & Lee Architects in Sydney.

Victor Njo
Victor is co-founder and Partner of HUGE. He has a Masters degree in both Urban Planning and Architecture from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. He holds his architect registration in the Netherlands as well.
He won the architectural design competition for the Shanghai Renji Hospital extension in Pudong, Shanghai in 2008 together with AIM and SHCDI. In collaboration with PTW he won first prize for the master planning design of the Hangzhou Gongxin Watertown Development. He also headed designs for built projects such as the SportBOX in Shanghai (Architectural competition 1st prize winner), Capland Centre in Qingdao and the Qiantang Garden Development (Architectural competition 1st prize winner) in Hangzhou and the Genway Sales Centrein Kunshan.
Before HUGE he collaborated with Ma Qingyun at MADA s.p.a.m. and was lead designer for many built projects in China for PTW Architects until 2007. In Australia he worked at the PTW Sydney head office on projects in Australia,China, the Middle East and Vietnam. At COX Richardson architects he was part of the design team that won 2nd prize for the Beijing CBD architectural competition in 2003. Prior to his move to Australia he worked at several famous Dutch architectural firms.
He was visiting critic for final year architectural and urban planning studios at Sydney University, UNSW, UTS (Australia)and Jiaotong University in Shanghai.
